KYUSHU EXPERIENCES
Discover Kyushu beyond the usual tourist path.
Our private journeys are designed around your interests rather than a fixed itinerary, offering a slower and more personal way to experience Kyushu.
From traditional crafts and celebrated destinations to quiet villages, local encounters, and everyday life, each journey is carefully tailored to your interests and guided by our experience living in Japan.
OUR SELECTION
Discover a carefully curated selection of Japanese antiques, traditional crafts, and meaningful objects.
Every piece is personally chosen for its craftsmanship, character, and cultural value. From antique baskets and ceramics to handcrafted objects that continue Japan's rich traditions, each item reflects the beauty of everyday Japanese life.
Whether you are a collector, an interior designer, or simply appreciate Japanese craftsmanship, our selection invites you to bring a small part of Japan home.
SOURCING & EXPERTISE
Looking for something unique?
We help collectors, designers, galleries, and Japan enthusiasts find authentic Japanese antiques, traditional crafts, and meaningful objects that can be difficult to source from abroad.
Drawing on our local knowledge and trusted network across Kyushu, we offer personalized sourcing, expert guidance, and support at every step.

ABOUT US
At Kizunaway, we believe that every journey and every object tells a story — one that connects people, places, and traditions across time.
Kizunaway was born from a long-standing connection between Japan and Europe, shaped by more than 35 years of exploring Japanese antiques, craftsmanship, and culture.
Based in Kurume, Kyushu, we live and work in Japan, sharing the region we call home through private journeys, carefully selected objects, and personalized sourcing for travellers, collectors, and clients worldwide, mainly across Europe and the United States.

The name reflects this philosophy: “Kizuna” (絆) evokes connection, while “way” represents a path — a journey through Japanese culture, aesthetics, and discovery.
