Kizunaway was born from a long-standing connection between Japan and Europe, shaped by over 35 years of experience exploring Japanese antiques, craftsmanship, and culture.
Based in Kurume, Kyushu, our work is rooted in daily life in Japan, combined with a bi-cultural perspective that bridges both worlds.
Our approach is guided by a respect for materials, history, and the quiet presence of objects shaped by time.
The name reflects this philosophy: “Kizuna” (絆) evokes connection, while “way” suggests a path — a journey through Japanese culture, aesthetics, and discovery.
